Lithium ion batteries have high energy density, up to 200Wh/kg for LiFePO4 batteries, which is three times as much as nickel metal hydride and four times of that of lead acid. UPS powered by lithium ion batteries occupies only 1/3 of the room space in the same output power of lead acid UPS. It is light in weight, which is only 1/5 of lead acid UPS in the same volume. Lithium ion batteries can provide reasonable structural planning conditions, planning space and possibilities.
Lithium ion batteries have long service life of 10 to 15 years in average, while lead acid batteries can only last 4 to 6 years. The longer life reasonably reduces the cost of battery replacement and maintenance.
Lithium UPS system supports high current rate charging and can be fast charged at 2C. Due to no memory effect it can be charged and discharged anytime. It has strong adaptability to high/low temperature and can operate at -20°C ~ +60°C.
Lithium UPS system is green and environmentally friendly. It does not contain lead, mercury, cadmium and other toxic and harmful heavy metal elements and substances, and meets the european RoHS standards.
